Guillaume Cochard-Lemoine, born 1985 in Lyon.
I started music at the age of 3. For the 21 years that followed, I studied the cello & the composition at the Grenoble and Paris Conservatoires then at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève.
Being extremely keen on playing a “harmonic” instrument as well, I went on to study the harpsichord in parallel at the Conservatoire of Lyon.
As a cellist, I am engaged by several ensembles and perform all over France as well as in Europe and America.
Composing has always been part of my life. Thanks to the encouragements of my teachers, in particular David Chapuis who is a composer and a teacher of composition and harmony at the Conservatoires Supérieurs de Musique of Geneva and Lyon, I decided to compose soundtracks professionally.
Why soundtracks for films? Quite simply because I have always been composing with images in my head… and now I create soundtracks to bring your stories to life!
